Step 1: Prepare The Ingredients

Begin the recipe of spooky cupcakes by preparing basic ingredients. Firstly, grind the cranberries properly. Now prepare crumbled nuts and for that drop walnuts, almonds and pistachios into the zipper bag and press hard with rolling pin.

Step 2: Bake Cranberry Cupcakes

Firstly prepare cranberries cupcake batter by mixing butter, eggs, baking powder, salt, and sugar all together. Add flour,vanilla extract and milk to the mixture and mix it well. Add cranberries, orange zest and crumbled nuts to it and blend it well. Preheat oven to 350 degree and bake the cupcakes for 20 minutes. Let the cupcakes cool for few minutes and then transfer them to Halloween cupcake liner.

Step 3: Prepare Icing

Now prepare icing by blending melted butter, sugar, vanilla extract, and milk all together. Then you need to prepare colored icing. Divide white icing into six equal parts. For yellow icing add yellow food color, for orange icing add orange food color, for green icing add green food color, and for red icing add red food color to different portions of white icing and blend it well. Prepare chocolate icing by adding melted chocolate to the white icing. After icing preparations, make white fondant strips by flattening the white fondant and cutting it into stripes.

Step 4: Garnish Cupcakes

Garnish the cupcakes! Spread yellow-colored icing, orange-colored icing, green-colored icing, red-colored icing, chocolate icing, and white-colored icing on different cupcakes. *Create eye, nose and mouth on orange icing cupcake with chocolate icing. *Write “Boo!” with chocolate icing and drop fondant ghost on yellow icing cupcake. *Draw branches on white icing cupcake with red icing and drop green fondant eyes on it. * Make mouth with orange icing and teeth with white icing on green icing cupcake and drop black and white candy eyes and green gum candy on it. *Draw eyes with white icing and mouth with chocolate icing on red icing cupcake. *Wrap the chocolate icing cupcake with white fondant stripes and drop yellow fondant eyes on it.
