Step 1: Prepare Cheesecake

To make Shamrock cake, first prepare cheesecake. For that first preheat the oven to 325degrees. Then add cream cheese, sugar, salt, eggs, sour cream, whipping cream and vanilla extract in a large bowl and blend it with electric blender. Pour this mixture into 9-inch spring form pan (covered with foil and inside placed with parchment paper). Then place this prepared cake pan in large roasting pan and then inside roasting pan add hot water as much that there is about an inch of water coming up the foil along the sides of the cheesecake pan. Now place this roasting pan with cake into the oven and bake for 45 minutes. Then remove cheesecake and let it cool and then refrigerate it for 4 to 5 hours.


Step 2: Prepare Green Velvet Cake

Next prepare the green velvet cake and for that again preheat oven to 325 degrees. Then add flour, cocoa, salt, oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla extract in a large bowl and mix it with blender. In a small bowl take white vinegar and dissolve baking soda in it. Now add this vinegar mixture into prepared green velvet cake mixture followed by buttermilk, green food color and blend it well. Then divide this batter evenly between the cake pans (inside placed with parchment paper) and keep them to bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Then remove green velvet cake and let it cool completely.

Step 3: Prepare Cake Frosting

By that time make frosting by blending cream cheese, butter, marshmallow crème and powdered sugar in a large bowl. Also make four leaf clovers and for that keep bowl of melt candies in oven for 30 seconds to melt. Now remove melted candies and let it cool then pour into piping bag and make four leaf clovers on parchment paper.


Step 4: Assemble & Serve Shamrock Cake

Finally assemble Shamrock cake by placing green velvet cake bun onto serving cake stand. Then place cheesecake on top of it followed by second green velvet cake bun on top of the cheesecake. Then apply a coating layer of frosting to cake and refrigerate it for 30 minutes. Remove cake from the fridge and spread the frosting evenly on top and down the sides of the cake. Add green sprinkles on top of cake and place leaf clovers on the top of cake. Your yummy Shamrock Cake is ready.


For Cheesecake:

  • 8 ounce Cream cheese

  • Pinch of Salt

  • ¼ cup Sour cream

  • ½ cup Granulated white sugar

  • 2 Eggs

  • ¼ cup Whipping cream

  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

  • Hot water

For Green Velvet Cake:

  • 2 ½  cups All-purpose flour

  • ½  tsp Salt

  • 1 ½ cups Granulated white sugar

  • 2 tbsp Cocoa powder

  • 1 ½ cups Vegetable oil

  • 2 Eggs

  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp Baking soda

  • 2 tbsp Green food color

  • 1 tsp White vinegar

  • 1 cup Buttermilk

For Cake Frosting and  Decoration:

  • 8 ounce Cream cheese

  • 7 ounce Marshmallow cream

  • 1 bowl Green candies

  • ½ cup Unsalted butter

  • 1 cup Powdered sugar

  • Green sprinkles
