Step 1: Boil Potatoes

To boil potatoes, in a stockpot add water, salt and bring water to a boil for 20 minutes. Add baby yukon gold potatoes in boiling water and boil for about 15 minutes or until they are just tender. Remove baby yukon gold potatoes from boiled water and allow it to cool. Cut baby yukon gold potatoes into half and transfer them to a plate. Slice tomato and raclette cheese and transfer them to a plates.

Step 2: Prepare Raclette

To prepare raclette, first arrange everything into different plates. Then place raclette grill machine in the middle of the table. Preheat the raclette grill machine according to the manufacturer's instructions. Brush top griddle of the raclette grill machine with some melted butter. Place raclette cheese slices in each raclette tray and place it under broiler of the raclette grill machine for about 5 minutes, until it melts, bubbles convincingly and is brown around edges. Place some of the halved boiled baby yukon gold potatoes, sliced tomatoes, sliced black forest ham on the top raclette grill machine and cook for about 5 minutes, until they are golden brown and crisp tender. Turn vegetables and black forest ham using tong and cook for another 5 minutes. Sprinkle salt, black pepper over vegetables and black forest ham.

Step 3: Garnish & Raclette

To serve raclette, transfer grilled vegetables and black forest ham into serving plate. Remove melted raclette cheese tray from the broiler and pour it over grilled baby yukon gold potatoes. Arrange some drained gherkins and cocktail onions on the serving plate alongside the vegetables. Sprinkle paprika and black pepper over melted raclette cheese. Your raclette is ready to eat. Enjoy!

  • 2 baby Yukon Gold Potatoes, boiled and halved
  • 3 tablespoons Butter, melted Paprika to taste
  • 1 Tomato, sliced
  • 1 small jar Gherkins,drained
  • 1 small jar cocktail Onions,drained
  • Black Pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Water
  • 4 ounces thinly sliced Black Forest Ham
  • 800 to 900 g Raclette Cheese, cut into thick square slabs
