Step 1: Make Cheese Sauce
To make cheese sauce, in a frying pan melt butter over heat. Add flour, stir for one minutes. Add milk, stir until boiled and thick. Add nutmeg powder, black pepper, salt, shredded cheddar cheese, stir until cheese is melted. Remove cheese sauce from the heat and set aside.
Step 2: Assemble Scalloped Potatoes
To assemble scalloped potatoes, peel and cut potatoes, peel and cut potatoes into ?-inch-thick slices. Spread thin layer of cheese sauce into the bottom of a casserole dish. Layer slices of potatoes on top of the cheese sauce. The spread chopped onions over the potatoes slices. Add second and third layers of cheese sauce and potatoes slices. Sprinkles remaining shredded cheddar cheese over potatoes slices. Then sprinkles chopped chives on the top.
Step 3: Bake and Serve Scalloped Potatoes
To bake Scalloped Potatoes, cover casserole dish with aluminum foil. Place casserole dish in the grill machine and cook for 35 minutes. Remove aluminium foil from the casserole dish and again cook for 15 minutes until lightly browned and potatoes are tender. Remove scalloped potatoes from the grill machine. Your Scalloped Potatoes are ready to eat. Enjoy!!
