Step 1: Prepare Banana Pudding Mixture
To make pudding mixture, in a large mixing bowl, beat cold milk and instant vanilla pudding mix until well combined. Then add condensed milk, vanilla extract and mix together well until smooth. Now add whipped topping to the pudding mixture and stir well blended.
To assemble banana pudding, place pudding mixture in a serving bowl. Place vanilla wafer over the pudding mixture. Place sliced bananas over the vanilla wafers. Repeat the same layer again. Place the remaining pudding mixture over the bananas. Decorate vanilla wafers over the top of the pudding. Then take a rolling pin and crush the remaining vanilla wafers and sprinkle them over the top of the pudding. Finally, decorate sliced bananas over top of the pudding. Then refrigerate the pudding for three to eight hours. Remove pudding from the fridge and serve chilled. Your banana pudding is ready!
Step 2: Prepare Bread Pudding Mixture
Preheat oven to 300 F. Spray non-stick vegetable spray on the heatproof baking dish. To make a custard, in a large mixing bowl beat egg and granulated white sugar until thick and lemon-colored. Then add vanilla extract and ground cinnamon beat until well mixed. Now add unsalted melted butter, half & half cream and mix until well combined.
Step 3: Assemble Pudding Mixture
To assemble pudding, arrange bread cubes and then apple cubes in the baking dish. Spread raisins over the apple layer. Carefully pour the prepared custard over the bread cubes until completely covered.
Step 4: Bake & Serve Pudding
To bake the pudding, place the baking dish into a large roasting pan that has enough room around its sides to fill with water. Prepare a water bath ( water bath is used to provide temperature protection for the egg custard). Carefully pour enough hot water in the roasting pan so that the water is halfway up sides of the baking dish. Place the roasting pan into the oven and bake the pudding for 1 hour until golden brown in color. Remove roasting pan from the oven. Then remove the baking dish from the roasting pan and cool pudding slightly before serving. Serve pudding with caramel sauce. Your bread pudding is ready!

- Hot water
- 1 and ½ tsp Vanilla extract
- 8 - 10 Bread cubes, cut into bite sized pieces
