Step 1: Prepare Dumplings Dough

To make dumplings dough, in a large bowl mix white flour and water, knead until it is no longer sticky but still soft. Keep the dough for 30 minutes on room temperature. When dumplings dough is ready, sprinkle white flour on the cutting board. Then transfer dough on the cutting board and cut dough into 5 pieces. Roll each piece of dough into a 3-inch disk with rolling pin.

Step 2: Prepare Dumplings Stuffing

To make dumplings stuffing, in a large bowl add chopped white cabbage, chopped button mushrooms, chopped spring onions, crushed garlic, crushed ginger, minced ground pork, soy sauce, soft brown sugar, sesame oil and mix all ingredients together well.

Step 3: Prepare Assemble Dumplings

To assemble dumplings, place one teaspoon of stuffing in the center of dough disk. Moisten one edge of dough disk with water and fold dough disk in half over stuffing and seal edges with fork or moistened fingers. Repeat same process for all dumplings.

Step 4: Cook & Serve dumplings

To cook dumplings, heat frying pan with a little vegetable oil. Once the vegetable oil is hot, place each dumpling in the frying pan and cook dumplings approximately 1 minute per side, until slightly golden brown. Add enough water in it so that it reaches halfway up the sides of the dumplings. Then set stove heat on the high flame and wait until all the water gets evaporated. On meantime, prepare dipping sauce in a small bowl mix together soy sauce and rice vinegar. Remove each dumpling from heat and place it on the serving plate. Serve hot Japanese

  • 250g Ground Pork Mince
  • ½ cup chopped button Mushrooms
  • 1 tsp Ginger,crushed
  • 1 cup chopped white Cabbage
  • 4 cloves Garlic,crushed
  • 2 Spring Onions,chopped
  • 2 tbsps Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Sesame Oil
  • Vegetable Oil for frying
  • 1 tbsp soft Brown Sugar (optional)
  • Water for assembling
  • 200g White Flour, plus extra for dusting
  • 170ml Water
  • ½ cup Soy Sauce
  • ½ cup Rice Vinegar
